Colleen Riopko Account Executive
Colleen comes to Barb Clapp Advertising and Marketing with experience in strategic marketing, project management and media buying. Colleen got her start in media buying at Zenith Media Services of New York, NY. There she worked on a major entertainment account where she focused on ensuring quality media buys throughout top local markets in the United States. Colleen continued to focus on media buying at OMD, also of New York, NY, where she was exposed to several Fortune 500 clients.
Her knowledge of the media industry and financial aptitude led Colleen to Parade Magazine where she worked as a senior analyst in their advertising sales department. While at Parade, Colleen worked to coordinate ad positioning and pricing structures, while ensuring profitability for the magazine.
In 2005 Colleen left New York City for a position as media manager at a boutique firm in upstate New York. There she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of media planning and buying for the agency’s clients. Her marketing savvy and personal approach to client relations allowed Colleen to grow her responsibilities and area of expertise. While maintaining the media department and managing several mid level clients, Colleen also oversaw all aspects of public relations, strategic marketing and event planning for the firm’s largest account.
Colleen joined Barb Clapp Advertising and Marketing in 2007 as an Account Executive. She holds Bachelors Degree in political science with a minor in communications from Loyola College.
